A City Respite

Across from Socrates Sculpture Park—and Costco—in Long Island City is the Noguchi Museum, one of New York’s most underrated treasures. On the first Friday of each month, admission to this shrine devoted to the fluid sculptures of Isamu Noguchi is free. Last Friday I took advantage of this, wandering through its charming open-air sculpture garden. What a Zen start to the weekend.
