It’s that time again–time to slow down, be thankful for all we have, and spend quality time with family. It’s also the time of year to wonder at the idea that we need a holiday in order to do all of these things; but we all know it’s so easy to get caught up in work and the stress of everyday life that we take what we have for granted, and it’s so easy to dwell on the negative rather than focus our energy on positivity and happiness.
So there’s nothing wrong with a little reminder around this time of year: today, I’m grateful for a delicious, satisfying, and relaxing lunch at Maialino with my HD team, and how lucky I am to have a supportive and fun group to work with everyday. I’m grateful for the opportunity to fly to Canada this weekend and spend time with my husband, who I don’t see nearly enough. I’m thankful for my health and the health of my family and friends. I’m thankful for the freedom and ability to pursue my own passions.
